KMV Moving provides Local Moving and packing services at an hourly rate, plus a travel time charge. Please call or email us for our current hourly rates. Our rates may vary based on how many movers or trucks you need. You can generally save money by moving mid-week, mid-month when demand for our services are lower.  The time starts when the movers arrive at your loading location and continues until the job is completed at your final destination, and includes  the time between your various locations. The trip charge is added to your bill for the time spent getting out to you and back home again. We  generally say that takes 1 hour to 1.5 hours moving time per fully  furnished room. Remember that it may take a little longer if you live in a location with elevator, flight of stairs, or if there is a long walk (long carry) from where the moving van can park to your main door.
